Douglas Lim is a prominent Malaysian actor, comedian, television presenter, and emcee. His wit and comedic observations have made him a household name in Malaysia, with a career spanning local television, theatre, film, and comedy shows over the last two decades.

His journey into entertainment began during his matriculation studies when he appeared in the popular sitcom Kopitiam. His performance in this series earned him a nomination for Best Actor (Comedy) at the Asian Television Awards.

In addition to his acting career, Douglas Lim is a seasoned stand-up comedian. He founded the Malaysian Association of Chinese Comedians (MACC) in 2009, which has become one of Malaysia’s most successful stand-up comedy tour groups. Douglas Lim made his international debut at the prestigious Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) in 2017 under Comedy Zone Asia. His impressive performances earned him a spot on the esteemed MICF Gala, which aired on ABC.

He continues to pivot creatively during challenging times, demonstrating resilience and adaptability throughout his career.
