Joe Flizzow, born Johan bin Ishak on October 16, 1979, in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, is a pioneering figure in the Malaysian hip-hop scene. Known by his stage name "Joe Flizzow" or "The President," he has made significant contributions to the music industry as a rapper, songwriter, music producer, and entrepreneur.

Joe Flizzow's journey in music began in the late 1990s when he co-founded the influential hip-hop duo Too Phat with Malique Ibrahim. The duo quickly gained popularity with their unique blend of Western hip-hop and traditional Malay music, releasing several successful albums and becoming a household name in Malaysia.

In 2008, Joe Flizzow embarked on a solo career, releasing his debut album "President" under Warner Music Malaysia. The album featured collaborations with artists from various countries, showcasing Joe's talent and global appeal. His third solo album, "Havoc," released in 2013, further solidified his position as a leading artist in the Malaysian music industry. The album's hit single "Apa Khabar" won the Best Song award at the Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) and the Best Hip-Hop Song award at the Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM).

Beyond his musical achievements, Joe Flizzow is also a successful entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Kartel Records, a record label that has nurtured and promoted numerous talented artists in Malaysia. Under his leadership, Kartel Records has become a prominent name in the local music scene, contributing to the growth and development of Malaysian hip-hop.

Joe Flizzow's influence extends beyond music and entrepreneurship. He has ventured into various business endeavors, including Joe's Barbershop and Joe's Kitchen, both located in Subang Jaya. His commitment to giving back to the community is evident through his involvement in social causes, such as the campaign against cyberbullying and the spread of fake news on social media.

In his personal life, Joe Flizzow married Marini Ramlan in 2020, after a long-standing relationship that began in 2016. Despite his busy career, he remains grounded and dedicated to his family and community.
