A long table, a room of readers, and an afternoon spent in the company of people who still believe a story can travel between languages.
The Living History Project joined the Alliance Française Book Fair 2025 as part of our ongoing conversation with the city's reading and storytelling communities. The afternoon brought together writers, translators, educators, and friends of the project — a small, deliberate gathering that mirrored the quiet, archival work we do every day.
We came to listen. To shake a few hands, hand out a few books, and remind ourselves why we built TLHP in the first place: that a country is the sum of the stories its people choose to keep alive.
